STAMIGOLD Company Limited – Biharamulo Mine is a subsidiary company of the State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) operating a gold mine. The Mine is located in the Biharamulo Forest Reserve, South West of Mwanza in Kagera Region. Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: 37 months, subject to renewal

Security System Engineer (01) Post
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees and ensures all aspects relating to the day to day operation of all the Babylon Networks on site are maintained and operating to their optimum efficiency, includes both hardware and software;
- Ensures all employees are carrying out their duties diligently at all times, with the highest regard for safety of themselves, other employees, the environment and community members;
- Ensures the presence of highest level of Security; Network Security, with special emphasis on securing Stamigold confidential data at all times.
- Maintains technical support documentation for the Babylon Security System in accordance with procedure;
- Manages Security related projects as required, both in-house and outsourced. Monitor progress to ensure project delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Ensures all aspects of the Babylon system and related procedures comply with the Stamigold Security Standards;
- Provides Babylon hardware (CCTV, Card readers, K24, K32 etc) and software support for SBM;
- Ensures the resolution of unresolved local site Security Babylon issues.
- Ensures, implementation and management all aspects of the Security Babylon Network environment currently on site;
- Oversees the adding and Removal of Users as necessary from Babylon System in accordance with the site procedures;
- Ensures all the Babylon data are backed up on daily basis;
- Develops and implement governance policies and procedures;
- Develops and maintains relationships with a variety of Managers, Security staff and other key personnel;
- Provides in house staff training;
- Controls the reporting of faults to ensure the completion of repairs and upgrades in a cost effective and efficient manner;
- Reviews every aspect of the areas’ activities to ensure that opportunities to add value and enhance shareholder wealth are identified and implemented;
- Performs any other duties as might be assigned by the immediate superior.

- Holders of Bachelor Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science, software engineering, systems engineering or related field from recognized institution;

CCTV Operator (01) Post
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the necessary programs are functioning and reports all incidences on time as they occur;
- Ensures that no any security member is in possession of private fire arm or traditional weapon while on duty;
- Conducts the daily checks of external and internal operating systems;
- Detects and ensures no loss of product takes place inside the Process Plant;
- Utilizes all available CCTV equipment to detect theft of product
- Reports and records in a daily log all breaches and suspicious activities in accordance with SBM operational procedures;
- Assists and advice on the development of CCTV procedures and equipment and;
- Performs any other duties as might be assigned by the immediate superior.

Minimum Qualifications
- Holder of Certificate of Secondary School Education;
- Holder of Technical certificate in IT or related field from a recognized Institution;
- At least three (3) years of experience;
- Possession of basic security training from recognized authority;
Internal Auditor (Re-advertised) - (01) Post
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carries out financial, operational, and compliance audit duties such as: evaluating internal controls, applying professional audit techniques, preparing audit work papers, developing solutions, and documenting findings;
- Provides relevant information under review such as findings and recommendations to the immediate Superior;
- Provides assistance to the Superior as to enable effective execution of various reviews, including audit tasks, inventory, and petty cash;
- Assists on performing departmental monthly budget reconciliation and;
- Performs any other duties assigned by superior.

Minimum Qualifications
- Holder of Bachelor Degree in Accounting /Finance or related field from a recognized institution.
- NBAA and the holder of Certified in Public Accountant will be an added advantage.
- At least two years of experience in Auditing Field
- Work experience reputable audit firm and mining sector will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate.
Maintenance planner (Re-advertised) - (01) Post
Duties and Responsibilities
- Orders, receives and supervises required material to assist maintenance activities.
- Plans and arranges activities related with equipment maintenance to enhance equipment and plant accessibility and competence supporting site production supplies.
- Coordinates machine/plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules.
- Executes modification in maintenance records and key equipment with significant spares during setting apt reorder levels along with quantities
- Prepares daily Maintenance KPI’ report as per SBM standard and procedures.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports related with maintenance activities conducted.
- Keeps records of the maintenance activities conducted past for further observation;
- Develops individual objectives/targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate supervisor and;
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Emergence Response Officer (Re-advertised) - (01) Post
Duties and Responsibilities
- Advises the Supervisor in matters relating to Emergency Response activities and assists with the implementation of the relevant programs;
- Conducts Portable Fire extinguishers at Surface and Underground;
- Facilitates and trains basic firefighting training course to all employees;
- Establishes, develops and trains emergency response teams to deal with any emergency situation;
- Updates and maintains the Mine Rescue Data Base as instructed by the Supervisor;
- Conducts Monthly Rescue Equipment checks and provides reports;
- Identifies and improves areas of weakness in Mine Rescue section and;
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Higher qualifications in discipline of either Public Health, Occupational Nursing, Occupational Medicine, Ergonomics/biotechnology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field obtained from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage.
