Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsibilities
- Maintains the necessary records, files, reports, databases, and resource material pertinent to grants office activities to ensure effective Grants Office operation and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Writes grant proposals and budget narratives. Edits foundation proposals. Drafts letters of commitment, and create and/or gathers supporting material for grant proposals such as job descriptions, resumes, maps, organizational charts, bibliographies, tables of contents and forms.
- Prepare and adhere to the grant manual for CRDB Bank Foundation.
- Develop and implement the grant-making strategy of the foundation, including identifying priority areas for the foundation, setting grant-making criteria, and determining the most effective methods for attracting grants.
- Manage a portfolio of proposals for contracts, contracts, and other agreements from a diverse pool of donors including different stakeholders, foundations, philanthropies, and international organizations.
- Research and evaluate grant proposals from non-profit organizations to determine the most deserving recipients of foundation funding.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of grant-funded programs and initiatives to ensure that they meet the foundation's goals and objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations on the progress and impact of the overall foundation's grant portfolio.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business administration, Finance and/ or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated successful experience a research, grant development, proposal-writing environment, administering grants and financial reporting, preferably for a government or non-profit agency.
- Strong commitment to dialogue with social and community engagements and the needs of the communities in which CRDB Bank operates.
- Project management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
