1) Special education to help mentally disabled children discover and develop their potential

Job Profile Summary
A career in Finance will provide you with the opportunity to help Sibusiso Foundation in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning, data analysis and reporting. You will focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledger accounts, reconciliation of various accounts, compliance with statutory tax requirements and periodic reporting. In this position, you will report directly to General Manager Finance and Operations.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
● Preparation of receipts and payments, and subsequent daily update of all collections and payments in Quick book accounting system.
● Keep track records of all organization assets such as computers, buildings, vehicles, furniture and fittings etc

Accountant
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
● Preparation of receipts and payments, and subsequent daily update of all collections and payments in Quick book accounting system.
● Keep track records of all organization assets such as computers, buildings, vehicles, furniture and fittings etc
● Review transactions posted in Quick book online system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
● Review mapping of general ledger accounts (chart of accounts) to check whether items are in line with financial reporting requirements.
● Review system of internal controls to ensure that appropriate controls exist to safeguard the assets of the organization.
● Prepare key reconciliations on a monthly basis. These include general ledger to sub-ledger reconciliations and reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts to appropriate schedules or third party documents.
● Review of stock records and management process.
● Ensure that the Organization remains tax compliant and actively propose options for optimizing the tax obligations.
● Ensure timely filing and payment of all taxes and other statutory requirements such as NSSF/WCF/NHIF etc
● Prepare monthly performance management reports based on general ledger as agreed by the General Manager Finance and Operation.
● Prepare a monthly /weekly cash report including cashflow forecast
● Assist with the annual budgeting process
● Involvement in preparation of financial statements at year-end

● Bachelor's degree/ Advanced diploma in Accounting or Finance
● Relevant professional qualification (CPA/ACCA)
