PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide day to day mechanical maintenance services to the Mine Site Infrastructures.

- Form IV Certificate or above with VETA Trade Test Grade Certificate in Carpentry and Wood Shaping and Decoration.
- The incumbent must have valid Tanzania driving license Class B&D.

EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 - 3 years working experience as a Carpenter in Estate and Facilities Maintenance
- Proven competency on using carpentry and woodworks powered tools.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Demonstrate positive approach to work and to Geita Gold Mine Safety Standards
- Participate actively to company strategy regarding safety. Participate in Daily toolbox, weekly safety stoppage, monthly safety meeting when needed.
- Responsible of the maintenance, repair and manufacture of woodwork and furniture’s
- General maintenance and repair of all types of mine site buildings including dry walling.
- Perform scheduled inspections in buildings and other estate facilities.
- Performs ad hoc maintenance works, emergency works on buildings and other estate facilities.
- Learn, understand and follow AGA Health, Safety and Security Policies and Procedures.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Good communication skills in both in Swahili and English languages.
- Teamwork and Cooperation.
- Attention to details.
- Working with minimum supervision.
- Outstanding work ethics.
- Good customer care.
