The Reservations Manager at Wilderness Wayo plays a crucial role in overseeing all operations within the Reservations Department. The primary objective is to ensure growth in sales and the delivery of high standards of service to clients and suppliers, exceeding their expectations. Reporting to the Country Commercial Director, the Reservations Manager will spearhead efforts to streamline processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications & experience
- Prior experience in reservations management, preferably in the tourism industry
- Prior experience in Tanzania is preferable, as well as an understanding of the Tanzanian safari industry
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts effectively
- Proficiency in relevant booking systems and software
- Tertiary education – diploma or certificate

This role oversees and manages all the operational activities of the Wilderness Wayo Ltd Tanzania business, elevating our superb guest experiences to even greater heights. Reporting to the Country Managing Director, you will be based at our Arusha office and required to travel extensively to various camps in the field. You will work closely with the management teams to implement business strategies, continuously looking at ways to optimise the business’ operating capabilities.

- Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tertiary education diploma or certificate
