NEW VACANCY TAX MANAGER
- (Woman or man)
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, business
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax management or economics management, 3 of which must be at a reputable
- A masters degree in Tax Law, Tax Administration, Fiscal Audit and Tax firm or a telecommunications or Economic Policy, CPA/ACCA is an added advantage company.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely preparation of returns for all taxes that the company, its subsidiaries and sister companies have with the tax authorities.
- Maintain an up-to-date tax payments calendar and ensure timely filing of relevant tax returns and payment of tax and statutory deductions.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all direct and indirect tax accounts and all key Tax
- Controls over taxation unit.
- Proper management of Tanzania Revenue Authority’s Taxpayer Online Portal and Zanzibar Revenue Authority’s Online Portal.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with Tax contacts in both Tanzania Revenue Authority(TRA), Zanzibar Revenue Authority (ZRA)and other key taxing, regulating and government authorities.
- Ensure monthly corporate income tax and deferred tax computations and provision of tax amounts for booking in the chart of accounts.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of Tax Laws, Regulations and Tax
- Practices in both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Problem-solving attitude coupled with highest degree of ownership and commitment.
