Market Development Representative at Smollan May 2024
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out sales route calls based on Permanent Journey Plan
• Plan sell out target by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) for each customer in keeping with overall tertiary sales target with the guidance of the IQ recommendation.
• Review targets at the end of each planned journey against actual achieved.
• Review and advise on product availability.
• Achieve all tertiary sales targets for all assigned SKU’s through direct sales
• Ensure that the TTS – Trading Terms (e.g. retail discs) are being utilized within the location.
• Achieve numeric distribution.
• Ensure in-store implementation of merchandising and availability standards and cycle priorities.
• Ensure proper stock rotation with customers e.g. move stocks from slow to fast moving shops to prevent expiry or damage.
• Ensure proper storage of products.
• Replace damaged product as per the trade returns policy.
• Ensure all customers in the territory are visited on a specified date.
• Regularly update customers on the latest prices and Trade insights
• Develop and maintain good trade relations & cooperation throughout the territory.
• Maintain all sales administration records in an up-to-date, accurate and neat manner.
• Submit specified reports on time – done through the mobility.
• Reconciliation of daily sales and company float.

• 6 months or more experience in the FMCG Industry as a sales representative
• Basic Certificate in sales & marketing or relevant field
• Selling Skills
• Customer Service Skills
• Time Management skills
