Stromme Foundation is a rights-based development NGO that works towards a vision of a world free from poverty.Our most important interventions in the fight against poverty are education, economic inclusion / job creation and a strong civil society.This gives hundreds of thousands of people the opportunity to climb out of poverty, every year. We are a decentralised organisation. With offices in West Africa, East Africa and Asia consisting only of local employees, we work through local partners in11 countries.
We implementour programmes through local partner organisations. Our Organisational Headquarters is in Kristiansand, Norway, and has a coordinating, capacity building and fundraising role. Around 35 staff work in Kristiansand, and a total of 150 staff work for Stromme Foundation worldwide. Stromme Foundation is a non-profit, value-based organization, and we want to create a culture where we both live and are motivated by our core values of dignity, justice, and solidarity.
Work tasks
• Oversee the implementation of the SFs Knowledge and Learning Strategy in Tanzania and Kenya.
• Implement SFs MERL system and develop tools and methodologies to ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of programmes in Tanzania and Kenya.
• Build capacity of partners in results-based reporting including formulation of log-frames and M&E plans.
• Support partners to develop and maintain their database on different programs and projects, which would help in monitoring, tracking and evaluation.
• Ensure that implementing partners collect and submit progress data that meets SF quality standards.
• Review of partner progress reports and following up with feedback.
• Build partners capacity for internal periodic assessments, reviews, and evaluations.
• Analyze programme data to assess performance and impact, generating actionable insights and produce high-quality reports for different donors and stakeholders.
• Actively represent SF in relevant MERL networks in Tanzania and Kenya to stay informed on the latest trends in monitoring and evaluation, learning and in research topics aligned with SFs thematic goals.

Qualifications
- Interested candidates must Hold a bachelors degree in social sciences or any other related field from a reputable academic institution. Graduate qualification in statistics, data analysis and digitalization will be an added advantage.
- The suitable Candidate should demonstrate the ability to think strategically, work creatively both individually and in a team and meet strict deadlines as well as to work in a multicultural environment.
- Anyone interested in the position must be committed to gender-sensitive and non-discriminatory attitudes, anti-corruption, safeguarding, respect and dignity for all people, solidarity with the most vulnerable and promotion of justice in line with SFs values.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in social sciences or any other related field from a reputable academic institution. Graduate qualification in statistics, data analysis and digitalization will be an added advantage.
- 5 Year International NGO Experience, Documented MERL systems experience, Strong Verbal and written Skills, Computer Literacy and Digitization Skills.
