YANURUNI is a non-governmental organization, that was founded and registered in the year 2020, operating within mainland Tanzania to offer mothers and children in need of high-quality, cost- effective, respectful and dignified health care during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period.
To achieve this vision, the organization cooperates with Stiftung NURU (Foundation NURU Switzerland), as well as with the Government of Tanzania in general commitments towards the life sustainability and in safeguarding the position of women and children in the community with the following common core objectives:
¨ strengthening and promoting quality health services (with focus on mothers and children)
¨ health education to women and children and their families.
¨ encouraging women and their children and families to ascertain their basic health rights and
needs.
¨ prioritization of women in employment opportunities (gender balance).
¨ providing reliefs towards destitute people whenever possible.
YOUR WORKPLACE - THE MOBILE CLINIC
After in-depth internal and external analysis of people's needs and availability of medical services, YANURUNI foundation has decided to start "Mobile Clinic" as a pilot project. The mobile clinic consists of one consultation room, a small laboratory, a small pharmacy and a toilet. The space outside the mobile clinic truck can be used to deliver RCH-services to pregnant women and children. Your workplace will therefore be a clinic on wheels that will park in different locations among Ikungi District (Singida Region) in order to bring medical service to people in need.
