1. Manager, Public Relations, Marketing & Corporate AffairsNature and Scope:
The Manager, Public Relations, Marketing & Corporate Affairs is responsible for developing and implementing public relations, marketing strategies, and managing the customer care function to enhance client satisfaction in line with the customer service charter. The role also includes contributing to the development of awareness around the bank’s products and services, ensuring they are presented distinctively in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations, marketing, and corporate affairs strategies for the bank.
- Manage customer care functions in line with the customer service charter.
- Conduct customer and other stakeholders’ satisfaction surveys to understand their needs/expectations and ensure the implementation of their feedback.
- Plan publicity strategies and campaigns to improve the bank’s visibility and brand image.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to support the bank’s growth.
- Handle enquiries from the public, the press, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and attend promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, and tours.
- Monitor the implementation of financed projects to ensure they meet the bank’s objectives.
- Monitor social media platforms and manage the bank’s presence online.
- Define and manage the bank’s brand, ensuring it is aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Perform campaign management for marketing initiatives and produce promotional materials.
- Develop proposals in the form of Project Concept Review Memorandum (PCRM) and submit them for approval.

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Planning, Agricultural Economics, or equivalent qualifications.
- A Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
- Competencies Required: Strong skills in strategic management, coordination, financial analytics, and critical thinking.
- Proven experience in Public Relations, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs, especially in the financial services sector.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, manage teams, and work under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in media relations, mass media issues handling, and marketing initiatives formulation.
- Working Experience: At least 6 years of demonstrable working experience in the financial services sector, particularly in Public Relations, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework for the financial services sector.

2. Business Development and Project Monitoring Officer II (Positions in Mbeya and Arusha)
Nature and Scope:
This role is critical for identifying and collecting pertinent information on new business opportunities, developing sustainable relationships with clients, and ensuring the tracking and management of qualified prospects. The officer will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of financed projects and ensuring they are completed as planned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and track new business opportunities and qualified prospects for the bank.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor projects under implementation to ensure they are completed according to plan.
- Contribute to the identification of business development strategies to enhance customer relations.
- Ensure clients comply with the terms and conditions stipulated in their offer letters.
- Gather information from customer and competitor data to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with the pricing department to create rate proposals for potential clients.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Project Management.
- Proven experience in business development and project monitoring, particularly in the banking or financial services sector.
Competencies Required:
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and manage customer relationships.
- Proven experience in managing partner relationships and working under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Working Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in business development, project monitoring, or a related field.
- Experience in the financial services or development financing sector is preferred.
