Summary of position
ICT Intern will offer Level 1 ICT support to ACF Tanzania Mission staff. They will follow through on support requests from Bases, and capital office, work hand in hand with the Regional ICT to resolve staff ICT requests. With guidance from the logistics department and Regional ICT, the intern will support managing and updating Asset and equipment registers. In line with the strategic Digitization of our program Elements, Tanzania ICT- Intern will support the development of tools and automation of busiess processes.

Action Against Hunger-USA is part of the Action Against Hunger International network, which provides humanitarian relief in over 40 countries worldwide in the sectors of nutrition, health, water/sanitation, and food security. Action Against Hunger-USA, an independent NGO, currently manages operations in eight countries: Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, Haiti and Somalia. Action Against Hunger-USA has over $100 million in programs, and approximately 1,700 staff based in in the various country offices and the headquarters in New York City and Operational Centre in Nairobi. Additional growth is anticipated.

Summary of Position
The Communication Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing Action Against Hunger's visibility and impact through strategic communication initiatives. Responsible for developing and managing compelling content, in collaboration with the regional and HQ communication teams the Communication Officer will support in maintaining the organization's website and social media platforms, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with organizational goals. He will support in the management of the media relations and cultivate relationships with journalists to secure coverage and amplify Action Against Hunger’s presence. Additionally, the Communication Officer supports internal communications by producing internal and external engagement materials and contributes to advocacy efforts to promote policy change and raise awareness about humanitarian, peace and developmental issues.
