Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fluids Superintendent to oversee the daily monitoring of well operations on drilling and/or work-over rigs. The ideal candidate will be capable of making immediate decisions regarding well operations, including drilling fluids, cementing, waste management, and other well-related issues. Reporting to the Drilling/Completion Manager, the Fluids Superintendent will coordinate operations with the Superintendent and on-site supervisors. This position can be based in the office with a 28/28 rotation or on-site residency.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Regulatory Compliance
This includes organizing, supervising, and overseeing occasional operations such as:
Information Flow and Problem-Solving:
Pre-Job Meetings: Conduct pre-job meetings to ensure clarity and alignment on tasks and safety.
Operations Management: Organise, administrate, and assist with operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, safety, environmental, and ethical standards established by the client.
Continuous Technical Support: Provide continuous technical support to site operations while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Service Provider Coordination: Oversee and coordinate service companies to ensure timely execution of necessary operations for the smooth progress of well operations.
Quality Improvement: Promote and disseminate best practices and techniques in an effort to improve operational quality.
Information Management:
Issue Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and synthesise work performed on-site, highlight issues, and propose corrective or compensatory actions.
Optimisation and Analysis: Prepare analysis and optimisation reports for operational improvement.
Incident Investigation: Participate in investigations related to incidents or accidents.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Drilling Superintendent to supervise the drilling contractor to ensure that wells are drilled safely and in accordance with the drilling programs and specifications.
The Drilling Superintendent will supervise the Drilling Contractor to ensure wells are drilled safely and in accordance with the drilling programs and specifications. This includes overseeing the drilling and completion of wells by contractors, ensuring safe drilling techniques are followed, and supervising one or more rigs on a 24-hour basis. The Drilling Superintendent will also be responsible for compiling comprehensive Drilling and Completion programs, AFE, and time-depth curves, as well as monitoring and tracking daily costs. Additionally, the role involves liaising with the Drilling Manager to discuss well objectives and any relevant changes.

- Management of mud and cement products stock

- Other well-related operations (e.g., loss management, casing, well cleaning, troubleshooting)

- Provide detailed information when issues arise to enable the organization and implementation of necessary means to resolve reported problems.
- A deep knowledge of the issues, equipment, and methodologies is required to make accurate diagnostics.

Job Description:

- Reports the progress of the well
- Is responsible for ensuring that the quality of drilling is up to standard and, when necessary, consults with the Drilling Operations Manager, Superintendent or Engineer as the situation requires
- Is responsible for requesting materials and for ensuring that they are available when required so as to avoid any delay in drilling. Makes periodic report on consumption and stocks, and arranges for them to be transferred to the next location or Warehouse
- Supervises the activities of the service companies working on the rig
- Represents the company at the rig in all matters. Is responsible for the safety of the Well itself and all personnel on the rig but to stop drilling should consult with the Drilling Operations Manager
- Carries out any other duties that may from time to time be assigned to him
